    I was extremely impressed with your office and the way they addressed this problem so very quickly, and with the repair crew for the way they went about fixing the problem.

    Last Wednesday evening (April 20), in using the self-clean mode, the glass door inside the oven exploded, the door remained locked, and of course the oven was totally dysfunctional.  I called ABW the next morning, and they arranged to have a crew come to us first thing Friday morning.  Fortunately they were able to bring with them the replacement parts needed to get the oven up and running again.

    Pedro and Felix arrived promptly at 8:00 on Friday morning, and within an hour had removed the broken parts, replaced them with the new parts, cleaned up all of the broken glass, and made sure the oven was working properly.  Pedro and Felix were absolutely wonderful.  In addition to knowing what they were doing, they were extremely professional, efficient, and relaxed, along with a bit of humor that really felt good given that we had been facing a broken oven with only a short time before the holiday of Passover was to begin, and with us expecting 14 guests on Fridayevening for the holiday celebration.  Whew!!

    In sum, I was extremely impressed with your office and the way they addressed this problem so very quickly, and with the repair crew for the way they went about fixing the problem.

    The repair guys at ABW are fantastic. We have a 7 year old 48″ Thermador dual fuel range that was not heating properly and 3 of the 4 burners on the stove would not ignite. Another local repair company said it was irreparable. I was dismayed as to why such an expensive range could only last 5 or 6 years. While looking at replacing a nearly $12,000.00 range I went to ABW. After hearing my story the salesman said to give his guys a shot a fixing our concerns. Being a bit of a skeptic, I delayed calling them until 2 weeks prior to Thanksgiving. 26 expected for dinner…
    Not only did they arrive when scheduled-the repair guy diagnosed our issues ordered parts and scheduled a time to return to repair the range.
    Not only did they return with the correct parts and fully repair the range to working order-I watched as the more experienced repairman schooled a younger guy on everything he was doing.
    They replaced our heating element and fixed all of the burners. The cost was determined ahead of time and was extremely reasonable.
    A week later a client of mine was complaining about a similar issue with their range. I referred ABW…ABW fixed her issue for $150.00. After two years of using a lighter to ignite her stove she was “dancing” in her kitchen showing her family how she could turn the burners on and off at will !

    We had a difficult problem that folks did not want tackle. The 16 year old (Thermador professional) range and grille needed to be converted from propane to natural gas – exactly opposite of what is usually needed. ABW service technicians came out, assessed the situation, ordered parts, returned and worked tirelessly to replace 11 parts (orifices) for the conversion. Along the way, the work required physically modifying a tool to fit tight spaces and heavy duty metal cutting to remove frozen parts. Thurman Miles (service tech) knowledge of the way gas is fed to grilles led to his making subtle adjustments for the repair – something that isn’t in the manual or available at on line customer service. This repair saved the high cost of a replacement range – thank you ABW – I cooked breakfast today and thank ABW for a great job!

    Dear Brooke,

    I am one happy camper and a very grateful customer! You really came through for me in spades by sending Dan Stubbs to the rescue — on such short notice and on a weekend at that!
    He immediately spotted what had gone wrong — a very simple mistake, but one that made the difference between a working ice maker and a non-working one. It took him no time to right the wrong, and it was a blessing since we were entertaining out-of-town guests that weekend.

    Antonio Martinez is a serious and conscience tech, and I’m sure this kind of thing can happen to anyone, so I would still like to commend him for his efficiency, his courtesy, and his conscientiousness. Greater attention to details is something that he might consider as he continues in a career for which he is already highly qualified.

    One other person deserves recognition: Kinita Knight. She’s great on the telephone and marvelous to work with. She totally gets it, and it’s a pleasure to talk to her.
    Having such a fine staff is no accident, I know. You may start with great personnel because of pre-screening, but the quality of customer service ABW gives to people like me stems from excellent staff development and training.

    So, Kudos to you, Brooke, for doing what you do! It’s always a pleasure to deal with your service department and an equally great pleasure to talk with you whenever the occasion arises.

    The guys were timely, courteous and did a great job. We are very excited! The cabinets are coming in next week and so we are hoping to have a kitchen by the third to 4th week of April! Just in time for boating season !

    Hi Michael (Coffma) – Thanks for the Electrolux washer/dryer recommendation. The ABW team installed last Friday – and they were a great team. It was probably a little more complicated than we anticipated given the configuration of the room, the placement of all the hook-up elements, and let’s not forget the fact that the units are on the second floor.
    Both installers were very “solution” oriented, and looked like total heroes when they actually made the whole thing come together. It wasn’t easy, and we really appreciate their help.

    I recently relocated from California, & I’m currently remodeling a home in Georgetown. Appliance Builders Wholesale was recommended to me by my cabinet maker. This will be my 4th home remodel that includes purchasing all new appliance. All this said, I highly recommend working with Blake Willie. Blake is extremely knowledgeable, especially when it comes to current product updates/features, very professional, & most importantly (to me anyway), Blake matches your needs with the products he ends up recommending…versus just pushing a certain brand or line. Additionally, Blake is excellent at following up, to ensure you have everything you need, & all your questions are answered. These are traits that aren’t easy to find, & that is why I highly recommend Blake Willie, & will definitely purchase from him again, even if he moves to another company, because he’s just that good!!

    Had a great experience with appliance builders wholesalers. My sales rep was Blake. Blake is very knowledgeable about the models that they carry and helped guide us throughout the entire process. Blake went above and beyond to help our builder locate a piece that they were not able to find in order to install our ventahood. I would recommend blake to anyone looking for appliances.

    I just wanted to say thanks for the service call I received today from Julian. My GE oven was not working properly and he was able to assess the situation, switch the safety valve to “off”, and get the oven working in no time. He explained what might be wrong and was able to troubleshoot it quickly.

    I would like to commend your company for the professionalism and courtesy of your repairman, Antonio Martinez. Today he fixed 2 broken pieces on my Maytag washing machine and was most helpful in explaining the situation on his earlier visit as well. He seemed very capable of diagnosing the problem and getting the job done quickly. I wish all my experiences with repairman were this good! Given that Maytag has chosen to use cheap parts (I bought this washer 2 yrs ago and already had 4 service calls), I suspect I will have your company here again under my warranty service. Just make sure its Antonio!

    Hi there,

    I wanted to send a note to let you know just how helpful/professional Anthony was as I shopped for appliances over the last few weeks. I looked at several different places for appliances and Anthony was by far the most knowledgeable/professional person I dealt with. He priced out full Kitchen Aid, Jenn Air, and Thermador packages and never complained or delayed.
    Everyone else I dealt with created false pressure tactics or pushy annoying strategies.

    Additionally, there was an associate in there who’s name I don’t remember, but even though I was looking at appliances past closing time he didn’t mention it — I only realized after I left that I kept him late. He too was exceptionally knowledgeable/helpful. And unlike other shops, he wasn’t concerned that he wasn’t getting a cut of the commission. At Great Indoors they fight each other out of the way to ensure no one else helps you but your designated sales person. Very irritating.

    I ultimately bought our package from Bray and Scarff because they matched your price and offered a warranty which if we don’t use, we get it back in credit. Time will tell if we made the right decision.
    Anyway, in lieu of purchasing the package from ABW, I’m sending this note to thank Anthony and his colleague for the great customer service.

I wanted to take the opportunity to write to tell you how pleased I was with a recent service call for my convection/microwave oven. From the person who scheduled and confirmed the appointment to the technicians who assessed the problem and then fixed it, your employees handled themselves with the utmost professionalism.

    What impressed me most was they narrowed the problem down to 3 things and brought replacement parts for all possibilities. Through troubleshooting, they determined it was only one part that needed to be replaced and this part was not the most expensive. They could have charge me for all three and I wouldn’t have know otherwise.

    This is the second time I have used ABW Appliances and will not hesitate to recommend your service department and showroom. In fact, I am taking my mother to your Ashburn, VA appliance showroom to purchase new appliances for her kitchen in Vienna, VA.

    Sir,

    I bought a great dishwasher for a great discount. When I contacted them the price of the dishwasher at other places was $899 but they sold it at $690. I bought a higher grade dishwasher for a really low price. They were great. They ended up selling it to someone else and they upgraded it to the next model for me. They gave me a similar discount. The warranty is for one year from the manufacturer and an extra year from them.

    At the recommendation of my kitchen designer, I went to ABW to shop for appliances for my kitchen renovation. My salesperson, Roy, was very knowledgeable and helpful. He spent plenty of time with me and answered all my questions. I shopped around for price and quality, and ended up buying all my appliances from ABW.

    Dear Sir,
I am a member of American Home Shield, a home protection plan that covers the repair and replacement of many home systems and appliances. AHS asked Appliance Builders Wholesalers, which also has a Service Division, to check my GE Triton dishwasher, which was not cleaning dishes properly and leaving spots and stains. Brooke, the Service Manager, called me promptly and arranged to have someone come out at a mutually convenient time to check the dishwasher. A technician called Ricky came by the first time; he was punctual, thorough, took the dishwasher apart and found much debris that he painstakingly cleaned. The machine has been running very well since the repair.
    I also needed a new touch panel because the lights were not working on the dishwasher; even though I was told the part would take about a week to arrive, to my surprise Brooke called me after only three days to tell me they had the part and would arrange to install it as soon as possible. Again, she accommodated my work schedule and gave me the last appointment of the day; she even called to say the technician was running a little late. I was concerned because I had made plans for the evening and thought the late appointment would get in the way. Brooke made some adjustments to her technicians’ schedule and had someone come by within the time frame. I was lucky enough to get the extremely competent Ricky again.
    Brooke and Ricky have very professional approaches and I would heartily recommend their company, Appliance Builders Service Division, to anyone looking for great service.

    Dear ABW,
The store is located in a warehouse district off Grubb Road. I was impressed with the wide range of upscale appliances that were on display, and the sales staff was quite knowledgeable. Our salesman came in on a Saturday, even though the store is usually closed then. We purchased a refrigerator, thinking that it was in stock. We had to call several times to find out when it would actually arrive – turned out to be several weeks later. Because of the time delay, the kitchen was not ready for a full installation, but Pat, the installer, actually came back another day to complete the installation. He was outstanding, and very understanding about our situation. On the whole, I was very pleased. I think the delay was out of their control, although they could have communicated better.
